Places where I stopped, roughly from West to East:

• Alghero airport, got the car
  
• Sassari, quick stop
  
• Castelsardo, night at hotel, quick visit next morning
  
• Elefanti: a rock that looks like an elephant
  
• Costa Paradisio: first swim on the rocky coast
  
• Portobello: wider beaches, bit dirty
  
• Capo Testa: wind surfing place, nice!
  
• Palau: I only regret i could not do one of the day boat trips to visit the islands of La Maddalena
  
• Porto Cervo: rich sea station on the Costa Esmeralda
  
• Capriccioli: nice but too crowded
  
• Back to Alghero at the hotel dei Peini
